Suttur, September 22, 2026: Students of JSS Higher Primary School, Suttur, have brought laurels to the institution by performing exceptionally well in football, kho-kho and yoga competitions organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy.
The school’s football team participated in the district-level football tournament held at the University Stadium, Mysuru, and secured first place. With this achievement, the team has been selected to participate in the divisional-level football tournament.
In the girls’ kho-kho tournament held at the Taluk Stadium, Nanjangud, the school team secured first place and qualified to participate in the district-level tournament.
The students also performed commendably in the district-level Yogasana competition held at the Vijaya Vittala School, Mysuru. Three boys and four girls from the school participated in the competition and secured second place.
The administrators, principals and teaching staff of the institution congratulated the students on their achievements and wished them success in the forthcoming competitions.
