Suttur, December 24, 2025: Kum. N. Dhavani, a Class VI student of the JSS Higher Primary School, Suttur, has been honoured with the ‘Academy Bal Gaurav Award’ for the year 2022–23. The award is conferred by the Department of Women and Child Development and Empowerment of Disabled and Senior Citizens, Bengaluru, along with the Karnataka Bal Vikas Academy, Dharwad, in recognition of her achievements in various fields.
The school described Dhavani’s accomplishment as highly commendable, noting that she has brought honour to the institution by receiving the Bal Puraskar Award in this category. She earned the recognition by demonstrating consistent interest and dedication across academics, cultural activities, sports, and co-curricular pursuits, showcasing her talent in all these areas.
