Vaishnavi, a Class 7 student of JSS Residential School, Suttur, won first prize in both Kata and Kumite at the National Level Karate Championship – Independence Day Cup 2026, organised by the Okinawa Shorin Ryu Karate School at Chamundi Vihara Stadium, Mysuru. The school management, Headmaster and staff congratulated her on the achievement.
